I've always been a big fan of pinball. As a kid, I played way more pinball than video games. I'm not sure what it was that drew me in, but I was hooked from the first play. I've always wanted to own a real pinball machine but never had a spare $5000 to buy one. Recently, I learned that you could buy a virtual pinball machine for $5000 that had hundreds of games inside it--and the games are faithful recreations of all the old games I remember playing as a kid. But, I still don't have $5000... Come with me on a journey to build my own virtual pinball machine for as close to $550 as I can get.
